Stress and The Holidays

Ahh, it’s that time of the year again.  The morning air is crisp.  The leaves are beginning to fall.  Sales abound in every store.  AND…………….it’s time to see the in-laws.

The Holiday season brings stresses that are unique to this time of the year.  There are preparations to either visit family or have family visit you.  Either way, cleaning, shopping and basically temporarily rearranging your life are the mode of the day.

There is a reason that massage is growing in popularity as a holiday gift, because once all is said and done, it is a necessary part of the recovery process.  Many even take advantage of the benefits of massage to refresh and rejuvenate during the season to give them the strength to cross the December 25th finish line.

Lots of time spent in a car driving from one place to the next, finding gifts or place settings, and slaving over a hot stove for the incoming friends and family can take its toll on your body.  As you sit and read this now, you are excited about the looks on the faces of your loved ones when they eat that special meal or receive that special gift, but you are dreading the process of getting it done.   Back pain, neck pain, tight muscles, arthritis, and headaches are just some of the words that may cross your lips this time of year.

Don’t let this holiday season, when friends and family reconnect, when neighbors and strangers alike wish you a nice day, wear you down to the point where its enjoyment is lost.  Stay happy, and healthy with a relaxation massage.  Give relief to those aching muscles in your neck and back TODAY!!

A 1 Hour Relaxation Massage is ONLY $49.  Mention this article and receive your choice of Aromatherapy during the session FREE.
